April Huguenin

Artist Statement:
I paint because I have to. I crave it. It brings me unimaginable joy and is one of the greatest gifts of my life.  I love being able to take a blank white canvas, fill it with color, and transform it into an inspiring work of art.

Artist Bio:
April is a self-taught artist whose art reflects her passion and enthusiasm for life. Her inspiration comes from her travels, whether in Paris, Rome or the low-country of South Carolina. She aims to capture the beauty of nature, visiting the same locations as great artists like Monet, painted before her. Strangers having cocktails on the streets of Paris, cyclists enjoying an afternoon ride across Pont Neuf, or the stillness of Monet’s gardens, April’s impressionism reveals the joys of life, applied to canvas.

Three Reasons to Collect April Huguenin:

1. Price-points that do not reflect her talent as a post-impressionist.

2. Paints life and joy that would brighten any home.

3. Works small-scale that allows for hanging in tighter spaces, powder rooms, or collect multiples and hang as collage.
